Curwen Environmental: Practical environmental solutions
Owner David Curwen started his career more than 25 years ago as an environmental scientist at the British Nuclear Fuels Sellafield site in England’s northwest. Recognising his skill for negotiation and balancing needs, David found himself drawn into environmental consultancy as time went on.
Working primarily in the UK oil and gas, power, and waste sectors, David’s career has been couched in the successes of the projects he has been involved with. A pragmatic strategist, he has centred his methodology on finding the best path for organisations to navigate – ensuring the best operational outcomes, whilst maintaining environmental integrity.
Since moving to Australia in 2011, David has spent almost ten years supporting and delivering major environmental approvals programs and compliance assessments across Queensland, New South Wales and the Northern Territory.
Now, the time has come for David to establish his own boutique environmental consultancy firm. In doing so, Curwen Environmental is able to provide a flexible, tailored service to our clients in a way that differentiates us from larger firms. We work for our clients, with our clients.
